They'll be my natural color (light aurburn) because I don't want to have to dye them. http://www.google.com/imgres?start=...36&tbnw=177&ndsp=28&ved=1t:429,r:10,s:73,i:26 I want these O_O really bad. I've been thinking of getting dreads for around 6 months, I've seen all there is to know, and I've decided... I want them u_u bad. My questions are: What size sectioning do you think she has? Did she use wax or constant crochet hooking? what size crochet hook to maintain the best? How can I get the ends like hers, loose but the same size as her dreads? Thank you ^^ <3 always, Rissa
Step one- be born with the same exact hair texture and style as she has. Step two- have the same person sort out your hair the same whay they sorted hers. step 3- give up ,because they won't/don't/can't always look like that. Hers are probably at least a few months old... and even she probably has shit crazy hair days( I know I do with 3 year old dreads.) -alternate step three- find her.scalp her. winning. She probably conditions her bangs/fringe and maybe even the ends to keep them from dreading. \ - for size, they look about as think as mine.. but fuck all if I know how large of sections I made, and the weird thing about that is some people have such thick hair they have dozens more dreads than me, and some people section the crap out their hair and still end up with fatter ones than mine.
Look, I'm not stupid. I was wondering more or less how to keep the ends from dreading and about the size sectioning. Mine won't look the same. I know that. No need to be rude..
Oh.. ok because it looked like you were asking how to get dreads that look the same.Which is a really silly thing to ask for. Everyones hair is different, you can't expect even if you start out the exact same way(size sectioning, routine) as her, yours will end up the same.
Well of pictures of her before dreadlocks, it looks as if we do have the same style sincce you have experience, Also, I have curly hair. I heard that curly hair dreads much easier, is this really true? Thank you for all the help
See.Even that depends. I'd say TYPICALLY, yes, curly hair locks up easier and faster.. but my experience wasn't such. I had the thinnest straightest hair before I started dreading, but mine locked up surprisingly fast, faster than many people I knew who started at the same time ...but my hair was always very very very prone to tangles. I think the tangle proneness is what makes a different.Kinky tangle prone hair locks up faster.
These look like backcombing with very little maintenance afterwards. The straight ends are from doing nothing. No wax, no hooks. Her undreaded hair seems to hide her loosies but they are there.
The funny thing is I have a few pictures in which mine look like that, even though in reality they don't... So camera work also plays a role. If you want dreads just go for it :] Who knows, maybe yours will turn out better than hers ;]
I don't condition my ends or bangs except right after I color, but I run my fingers through them if I feel them getting tangled.
