If you like REM then Tourfilm, a live gig from early 1990's is excellent. Tripped to this loads. slow moving fish, speeded up ferris wheel lit up at night, voice out of sinc, changing colour film, Stipes weird dancing, strobe lights and more.

Alright I just got back from Inception and it was definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen

I wouldnt wanna watch it tripping I dont think, but did anyone else kind of feel a relation between the movie and a psychedelic trip?

X-Men was kinda cool. It made me think that all these mutants were really symbolic of the diversity of personalities and talents you find in any society in the real world.

Maybe ones own 'home movie /Video' from 'back in the day' - one can get lost in yesterdays moments, time blurs with recollections mixing with the days reality and can send one into a falsehood of acceptance that yesterday is past, and tomorrow has yet to be written on the pages of today
    - or is that just me then?
    :)
Failing that the Monkee Movie that I still can't get my Head - around
    ;)

9 is a really great movie that slipped under the radar. Burton didn't make it tho, he was one of a bunch of producers.

Try this one for trippy... the dvd is hard to find but def worth it.

Speaking of Tim Burton, it may have been mentioned, either way though (and especially if not), Coraline is another super trippy flick.

Then I'd place Jeunot's films Delicatessen and City of Lost Children up there too.

    M. Night Shyamalan's The Village, Devil, The Last Airbender, The Happening, The Sixth Sense, and Lady In The Water are all worthy.

The Harry Potter films are fun, the Alien series of sequels but Alien itself rank(s) up there, likewise Nightmare On Elm Street plus the first couple sequels, as with Predator and its first few sequels, Total Recall, Surrogates, The Fifth Element, Run Lola Run, Trainspotting, Repo Men, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Gattaca, Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow, Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events, Inception, The Wolfman, An American Werewolf In London, Shudder Island, The Beach, Gumo, Julien Donkey-Boy, Kids, Party Monster, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Omen, the Saw series, The Cube's series, Mysterious Skin, The Doom Generation, The Reflecting Skin, the television series of Camelot, Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Damages, Rubicon, The 4400, Andromeda Strain, Defying Gravity, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate Universe, Battlestar Galactica, Sanctuary, True Blood, Dexter, and Being Human, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, One Flew Over The Cookoo's Nest, Pandorum, and these are likely somewhere but bare repeating: Avatar, Fantastic Planet, The Point, and Star Trek.

DMT: The Spirit Molecule is probably cool. There's also one that NASA I believe had something to do with in additional to folks like Stephen Hawking in which it's a theoretical documentary done with state-of-the-art special effects about sentient life on a planet Rovers and such were sent to. Far out that one sure is!

I have never watched movies tripping but there is one I have always wanted to try and nobody has mentioned it yet.

It's the documentary Alex Grey: Cosm.

It's a tour through Alex Grey's exhibition "The Hall of Sacred Mirrors". Many of you may know Alex Grey: his paintings are even printed on a lot of blotter!
