A new process has been developed to create electrical energy from water vapor. It involves changing the "energy state" of hydrogen into a new form of hydrogen called hydrinos. These hydrinos may be the "dark matter" that takes up a big part of our universe. By converting the hydrogen into a lower energy state, it releases energy and turns the hydrogen into more stable hydrinos. And the beauty of this process is that it is not only non-polluting, using abundant water as the energy source, but it doesn't require any rare materials. So it can be cheaply produced and scaled up to be used in homes, commercial applications and transportation safely.

This may be the big breakthru scientists have been searching for to wean us from fossil fuels. They expect to have a viable household power source to demonstrate by next year!

this sounds great, but note that the link is to an article labeled "PR Newswire"

I've seen several articles that appear to be bullshit on that site labeled "PR Newswire"

I suspect that the spots are sold by market watch, and that "PR Newswire" thinly identifies these as public relations press statements rather than as real news.

I think that one day, hydrogen will be our secret "free energy" that is just waiting to be developed. I hope this is the one, it would benefit mankind in the right hands.

but... what about the "water"? There is a ton of it.. only a thin % of it is drinkable.. the rest is stored.. salt or polluted.. so.. i imagine this hydrogen would come from non-drinkable water sources like oceans.. where and how would it be replenished? or over time would we slowly just dry up any water supply? would polluted water just become increasingly polluted since you're only looking to remove the hydrogen?

Won't happen. Oil companies won't allow it.

Oh, yes! Good catch. This is where that bogus cannabis research company posts its press releases.

The thing is they will take most any press release. Some are bogus, but most are legit.

I ran a quick search on hydrinos.
Mills theory has been around for quite a few years.
In 2005, New Journal of Physics published a harsh critique of the entire theory.

This is fantastic for both the environment and everyone else, but free means no taxes for the government so they will find a way to charge for it.

Seems this guy has been touting this since the 1990s. Here's an article in the Village Voice in 1999, with him saying it's only going to be a year before he comes up with a product, just like he's saying now, 13 years later...

    http://www.villagevoice.com/content/printVersion/218515/

Yes, a stock scam as he has been given millions by investors, but has yet to produce anything and let others reproduce his findings.

If somebody does actually come up with some energy production thing that does work, is cheap, and anybody can do it themselves... There will be a "sudden tragic accident" and that person will end up dead.

Or the patent will be purchased by the oil companies and sealed in a vault forever as has probably happened many times.

Funny thing is this guy was claiming he had patents pending back in the 1990s but I don't think he's produced a single patent on this yet.

Maybe I should patent, or better still, just create press releases about my miracle water...

Just one drop of this miracle water will turn this:

They do it all the time. What about advertising powerfull rings? You'd sell one for 100$ and there would be many kinds, like one giving money, other increasing luck, other fixing hearth-rate and blood pressure... :)

Oxyhydrogen is a mixture of hydrogen (H 2 ) and oxygen (O 2 ) gases. This gaseous mixture is used for torches for the processing of refractory materials and was the first gaseous mixture used for welding. In practice a ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 hydrogen : oxygen is required to avoid an oxidizing flame. If I remember right some time in the mid 90's there was someone making a car in the U.S. that ran on water also but using hho

That's incredibly cool. Now if it'll actually catch on like it's claiming it will. We SO need to break away from non-renewable resources and other methods that are dangerous and/or pollute our ecosystem. I can't wait to see what happens with this. As long as water taxes don't go up in the long run in spite of this idea. I'm all for it and would love to see cars running on clean affordable energy!

People too often dismiss renewable energy out of hand saying we don't have enough wind, solar, water, geo-heat, etc to provide power.
Put them all together and they add up!
Each part of the USA will have to find its own solution.
Vast areas of the western states have lots of geothermal energy, hot flowing water surging up from the ground, all sorts of power in that!
Here in Georgia we have lots and lots of sunshine going to waste, and solar panels are getting more efficient.
Wherever there is a waterfall, there is potential energy.
Wherever there is a cow there is poop and poop means methane which can burn and turn generators.
Out on the plains and by the shore, the wind always seems to be blowing. That can turn fan blades and make electricity.

In other news, water prices have recently climbed to $4 per gallon.
