At the start of the year, I use to post more, but then I got really into school and my job and I stopped doing LSD, even though it was my favorite drug. The other night I had the opportunity, with my best friend (Jeff), to do LSD again, with some other really close friends [Connor and Ashley] (who have never done LSD). I went ahead and pretty much convinced them to do it, well at least helped them make up their minds. Where I live there are communities being put up all over the place, but there is one huge plot of land, that looks like it had plans to be developed, but just quit. So there were just roads, trees, and valleys for a good 4-5 miles. No civilization in site. We decided to go there for our trip. We started going on a walk, till we found some concrete bricks stacked oddly like a piece of art on top of each other. We went over there and took the tabs, and talked and chilled. It was just the four of us, as far as we could see. Me and Jeff knew when it first started, as everything just got greater. Seeing Connor and Ashley have the biggest smiles on their face as they just look at everything around them, both of them thanking us at every chance they good. "Best Idea Ever" etc. We walked around some more, just letting it sink in, and get a general idea of our surroundings, we made our way back to the jeep. The way we parked the jeep was oddly perfect for the night. We parked it where the road just about ended and continued into a dirt road. No idea why we did, but we did. The whole night it was a very nice luke warm temperate outside, with the hint it was about to rain, but not quite. We spent most of the night, talking, sharing stories, sharing fruit, enjoying nature and life. The most memorable of the entire night, was a lightning show. Far off in the distance im sure some community was having a horrible time. But from where we were, on top of a hill in the distance, we could see the lightning dancing within the clouds for a good 2-3 hours. I remember us just sitting their watching it. Getting lost in my thoughts, it was easily one of the greatest nights of my life, even if it doesn't sound that exciting. Connor and Ashley changed their view on LSD, and we are now planning a road trip for a week to a beach and we have a beach house. I'll post that trip in much greater detail, as a lot more will happen. But im glad to be back, and having a great time. By the way, M83 is an amazing band to listen to. We listened to all their albums the entire night. This song right here, got to us: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3ozEsN2UO8"]M83 - Raconte-Moi Une Histoire - YouTube But one of their really really great songs is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4Pg-2LP76g"]M83 - Skin of the Night - YouTube I highly recommend checking out M83 if you haven't heard of them before
That's such a surreal sounding mental image with the empty plot of space and lightning in the distance. Good stuff!
I love sharing oppurtunities like that with others, especially if they're new to whatever it is your sharing and they have a good time!
