There is no song called "What'll You Raise". Maybe you got the title wrong? Deal?

actually, there is. it is an out-take from (i believe) the recording of 'go to heaven'. i have to think that, were it worked on a bit more, it could've been really good. most people don't dig it, though. here's some proof of its existence: http://www.rukind.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=326&t=1317

Don't make the mistake a lot of radio stations make. Don't listen to the studio album version (unless it's on Workingman's Dead, American Beauty, or In The Dark). Be sure to listen to live versions. The Dead often put songs on albums before their time and polished the songs later in concert.

I mentioned those three albums because in my opinion they are the only good studio albums.

i donno, man... wake is pretty solid studio work. and yeah, that "what'll you raise" track is kindof obscure. in fact, i didn't consciously seek it out to listen to it. i had my ipod on shuffle (the entire studio discography, 36 dick's picks, and a large chunk of the other live stuff they've put out) and it landed on that song. it caught my attention because i had never heard it, so i listened to it. i love the lyrics... but hunter's writing is always amazing, so i wasn't too terribly surprised :p
