Acid at concerts

not for me if i plan on leaving the bedroom lol i was hiding under the covers last time.

 

i like some adventure too. i don't think it's that uncommon for people to go for a walk at least, while tripping. it's nice to have a safe spot inside, but i always go for a walk or a bike ride if i dose at home. and better yet is dosing while camping in the woods, or maybe at a music festival (i only have been to really small ones).

 

DROP THE ACID GO TO THE CONCERT. lol for real bro, trust me I promise you that you will be glad you made the decision.

 

I saw phish in philly a couple years ago and I ate ALOT of acid. Got it from some old head. It was my first and only phish show im pretty much a dead head but boy was it fucking amazing. They understand you are on psychedelic drugs, these are kind people, the music will guide you. Let the music take you man and you will have a life changing experience. I promise

 

I've taken acid at a Primus show and shrooms at another, both were amazing but the shrooms made me feel anxious of my surroundings at times. Lucy on the other hand took me to a beautiful place for two and a bit hours, although I can't remember much of the gig at all. LSD would definitely be my recommendation of the two (small to medium dose). Is there an opportunity for you to try acid in the next week or so? That will give you a little taster and enough time for the tolerance to subside.

 

I'm all for it. Have done it for yrs. Never with hd but further fest 98,2000 from start to finish. ALL Phil and friends 01 with jimmy and warren.....Phish since then the "dead and all.

Why you blasting the forums? Why are you posting here if it bothers you... It's a good source for information on psychedelics, the op can appeal to other places as well, and no one here gave the op as remotely irresponsible advice as your example.

 

if someone takes LSD, and writes a trip report about their experience, i'd say they are the ONLY one who knows what they're talking about.

it's pretty easy to weed out good advice, from advice like "eat 2 strips and a bunch of molly," even if it's from people you don't know. also, a lot of people on this forum have been here for several years, and some of us do "know" each other to an extent.

and just so you know not everything mixes well with cannabis. Alcohol, ketamine, MXE, come to mind, lots of people find the combination nauseating and unpleasant.

jam bands are fun to see tripping too, but meh, not the best. Seen bisco, phish twice, p groove a few times, umphrees...always a good time, but not shpongle or gwar status

going to see flux pavillion next week, definitely gonna be flipping....never eaten doses at a dubstep show though so we'll see how that goes

 

I only read the first page of the thread, but I agree completely with the general consensus there: Probably not the best setting for your first acid trip.

IMO you would want to be able to lay down and relax, and also not be constantly surrounded by (strange) people.

nah I was at the asheville one, but the boulder video was the best one I could find of that light show/visualizer shpongletron 2.0 craziness.

and yeah, i wouldnt say a gwar show is for everyone, and definitely not a first time. Im much more comfortable tripping then most people, and enjoy intense experiences. One of my other favorite trips was going to scarowinds on 4 hits. Basically thats a roller coaster amusement park in charlotte NC, around halloween they set up a bunch of haunted houses and people dressed up in crazy costumes. a lot of people dont like large crowds, but the way I see it is there is so many people there that your pretty much invisible. Plus the people watching is primee

 

Haha, good one. The OP had made 2 posts when you made this really goofy post, kid. Here's my advice: post something along the lines of "I was fucked up and sometimes I'm an asshole and this was one of those times." Probably most people here have some experience with that kind of thing.


Back to the question. I decided after my last concert experience to pretty much not take psychedelics in public anywhere but at camping fests. It seems like for me there's always a time when I really just need to lie down to go deeper or because standing or sitting up gets to be a burden.

A significant number of people say their first deep LSD experience is the or one of the most profound experiences of their life. Concerts can be amazing, but not often profound (except for, you know, moments).
