Too "agreeable" in bed? MY BF said I am

Hi, I'm 27, in a very loving relationship with my finance (2 years).

He's my soulmate and my best friend... he is my match in every way.

We're very openly communicative and I mentioned recently that our sex life is becoming a little boring for me. It's lacking spontaneity, I feel. I told him as such, not putting the blame on him but rather asking him what we can do about it.
