Why are you so quick to take arms against them when they're so easy to avoid? They're generally labeled separately as post/hardcore, it's not like anyone in their right mind classifies them with classic or heavy metal. It's a whole different sound, and it's just as fun to groove to with friends. Plus, a lot of these groups are tenfold the talent of some older groups. Bury the hatchet, man it's all about having fun
