by purchasing a yellow ribbon that reads "support out troops", sold in almost every gas station in the U.S.A.
when i grow up, im going to own all the magnets, troops, chinas and yellow ribbons in the world, and i will distrubute each evenly amongst the people...global communism baby.
support your troops by sending someone you know, or some one you know's cousin brother father daughter son sister nephew niece mother father that is away from home in iraq , afghanistan at sea, anywhere away from the family they love, a christmas card. You dont know how much those little things mean. cookies are very appreciated too. http://www.army.com/support.html
They say "made in USA" on 'em, but I doubt it. They're probably just printed in the USA, if that much.
made in the usa....that means its been stapled or stamped by a extremely low wage worker in a U.S. territory....not the whole thing made in the U.S.
I made a post about this a couple months back. Those ribbons are fucking stupid. Anyone who has one on their car is a moron. These people wouldn't know what it means to support the troops if their lives depended on it. It's nothing more than a yuppie fad. I am sure most of these people with the ribbons couldn't care less about our soldiers in Iraq. Is it just around here, or do some morons have not just one of these tacky ribbon magnets on their car, but 4 or 5, all of a different color, lined up in a row. How cheesy can you get?
Oddly enough - I see more of these ribbons in parts of the country where people generally don't support the war compared to places that people generally do
my roomate has one of those on her car, her boyfriend is in the military... i don't really mind them, but at the same time i don't own one myself.
if you put one on your car you are sending the wrong message, people might think you are for the war..republicans have already proved they are not too intelligent, neither are rednecks __________ www.geocities.com/scatter_445
Yeah it's very common to see 4 or 5 ribbons lined up on one car. I rather prefer a "fuck war" bumper sticker.
If you REALLY want to "support the troops", then send them information on how to resist the war from within the ranks, declare Conscientious Objector status, or simply desert! http://www.stopthewarmachine.org/other/gi.htm http://www.objector.org http://www.join-snafu.org/organize.htm
