Hello, my names clay. Im having a hard time figuring out why we as humans do what we do. In middle school they told us to take school serious so we can go to college and do well. So we can make lots of money and be "successful" whatever that means.. SO thats what everybody does, we work real hard for all this american buying power just to have a shiny new car, big house, fancy phone etc etc... all that cool stuff just creates debt and more importantly stress which means we have to keep going to jobs we hate just to pay for all this stressful debt. because of all the time we spend working we arent able to be with loving people or family.. you have time for nothing but work, sleep and fast food. We all hate it... but we keep doing it because that's just 'the way it is" Thats the American way! Its depressing to me because i see how everybody runs around like lab rats doing the same thing everyday. I try so hard to find people that think like me and everyday it seems more and more like im on my own. ive lost all my friends because of this thinking, because i dont want to be like everyone else and I know im right. Its all about having an open mind, if indeed your mind is open.. then you know what im talking about. These days i put my time into my 60 hour a week job which I cant stand, my 69 Volkswagon bug which I love! lol. and my family. Im determined to find a better way of life but it starts by meeting the right people... Make yourself visible!
Rollin stoned... Your right! If its working for you and thats what makes you happy then right on! Lets be honest though, most people on the day to day grind hate it and sometimes dont even realize it.

if you were really attached to the name desert rat, I suppose you could just make a simple alteration, like "austin desert rat", desert rat the second, something like that

My nic is like desert-rat , you use Desert Rat , I guess something like that will work . I use the same nic on some other forums . desert rat
