I just recently followed my dream of moving from Ohio to Colorado(Boulder area) and am looking to meet chill people for the upcoming concert season and hiking/backpacking.
I have pics up in my profile of some of the nice places that I have visited so far,and looking to add to the list.

Not sure on which ones in particular In a fan of Bluegrass so the one in Lyons is for sure on my list, also Nedfest and if funds allow Telluride for sure. I haven't even looked at Red Rocks yet!
Thanks again for the compliments on my pics,I cannot wait to get a real camera. The picture in your post is great,I really like that, and appreciate the creativity and the talent behind that.

Red Rocks is an awesome place to see a show.

Allot of people notice the pic, I found it on a German web site, I have no idea what it said next to it, but it looked cool to me lol.

I've heard you'll need to go and buy a Bronco jersey.

Yeah Colorado is a Football state. We have several pro sport teams, but the Broncos are definitely the priority, once the season starts Bronco news is usually front page of the news paper regardless of what is going on in the world. I HATE the Broncos, and the locals obsession with them.

The only thing you need to get by sports wise is raiders and red wings suck.
I have very, very little interest in team sports and got by for a decade on that.
I also didn't ski, snowboard or ride a bike.

Go to Ned Fest. The originator died last November, so this might be the last time it looks like one of Mike's.
There is a thread about Michigan Mike either in Colorado or Festivals.

Boulder rocks. I used to camp in the woods outside of Nederland.

    Be safe.

I am also new to Colorado! I have been to Boulder, I went for a cross trek bike race. I am living in Denver though. Does anyone know where any good crystal shops are? The only ones I can find online are just places that sell a lot of books and herbs and barley any crystal selection. I just want a simple chunk of Halite! =)

If anyone from the Denver area wants to message me, feel free!!

Look for rock shops, not new age. Nature's Treasures in Nederland (first street ) is a delight.

More pagan, try Herbs and Arts Colfax at Race, Denver; or Spirit Ways farther along Colfax heading East (by the Bluebird) might, might be worth popping in on Spiritwise in Littleton, Broadway and Arapahoe Road, roughly.

I just moved from Colorado after 4years of living there, I've lived in boulder,Denver, Aspen, winter park... but to be honest, the true essence of colorado is in the small towns, down to earth folk, and you'd be suprised what some of these thift stores have collecting dust.
