Just got my Oil set up. The dome was custom made by a member at RIU for 45$shipped and i went to my local head shop and got the adapter,nail, and glass dabber for $85. So basically i spent like $120 on the whole oil set up but im pleased with it. They didn't have any adapters that matched the colors of my bong so i just went with one that had the wig wag design although its a different color.

 

killer setup for that price. Any idea who the artist is that made it? Kind of a large piece for oil (you lost flavor the further the vapor has to travel/more area it has to pass through) but still gets the job done I'm sure.

 

Good call i plan on investing in a shower head bubblier (Or small bong) or a micro circ soon. I was checking them out at the head shop today. thanks for the positive remarks

thanks man, the camera angle is a little tricky but the water is no more higher than the top of the inline diffuser, so i think its perfect where its at, it hits good and doesn't have alot of drag when i take the ash catcher off to clear it. PEACE

EDIT:: Oh i see you were talkin about the first pictures. That was the first day i got it and yes i filled it up a bit much but noticed it right away and made sure next time only to fill it up to the top of the inline. THank you for making sure my bong water levels are correct, i dont know what i would do with out you! ganjabomber everybody! for correct bong levels everywhere! May no bong level go uncorrected

 

since some water will be displaced when you start hitting it, it should be as low as possible. maybe even under the slits if you can.. but w/e.. enjoy your overfilled bong you sarcastic son of a gun

 

what kind of nail did you get? I'm assuming glass if it came with a dome and dabber for $85. You should get a highly educated titanium nail eventually they are better than glass. Cost like $80 each but they will last forever, glass nails can break if overheated or dropped (obviously). The ti nail is one of the best innovations in cannabis/concentrate culture. So much gimmicky shit being sold in headshops but not the Ti nail. It's a simple and functional and the V3 nails fit any oil dome since they are adjustable.

 

+1.. water should be just below slits.. when you inhale the water within the slits will be forced out.. making the water be above the slits creating less drag and a better hit imho...

But the real question is..

 

ya they had quartz and ti nails at the shop but i wasnt about to drop 75$ on a ti nail when i can get them for 25$ shipped online.
