Hi, is there SAtanist forums??

Ok, so I just noticed something about this Philosophy/Religion section!! How come there isn't a section for the religion "Satanism"?? Isn't satanism considered a recognized religion worldwide?? I think hipforums should add a satanism section to their Philosophy and Religion section if Christians can have the Christianity forum how come the satanists can't have theirs too?? Anyways that's just my random thought for the day.

 

Curious. Why woold an Atheist be interested in Satanism? Or any other religion for that matter? I'm guessing that if enough Satanists put in a request, there would be a section for Satanism.

Another random thought: I find it odd that so many of the ardent Atheists I've known and met seem to share a kind of obsession with religion. I would think that disinterest would be a more likely stance for an Atheist.

 

I guess too :2thumbsup: There just seem to be more christians on here than satanists.

Haha I was just about to point out why atheists are interested in religion. You kinda answered it yourself though. Because religion is intriguing to some people, even more to some when you do not understand it.

Just because I'm an atheist doesn't mean I also don't practice religious TOLERANCE!!! I am an atheist--but I'm also AWARE that there other beliefs that are different than just mine in the world.

 

Disinterest does not necessarily means intolerance of course.
