Have you ever been to a 'Spiritualist'? Would you like to share the experience in some way? Many years ago I went to the Spiritualists Association of Great Britain in London and had a 'reading' which completely blew me away - I gave NO info whatsoever and the person gave me 4-5 pieces of information that only my close family knew. Was awesome.
Being from the UK, you must know of Derren Brown. If you don't know him, you should get acquainted. The Spiritualist was using advanced cold reading techniques, possibly combined with data mining (Did you have to make an appointment in advance using your name, for example?)
Hey Jimmy. Yeah I heard of DB and I only used my first name to book an appointment. I was incredibly sceptical but know 100% they did not 'know' stuff about me/mylife/my family from 'cold' stuff or from me in any way - I sat there silent for 40 minutes. I was truly awe-struck:sunny:

Hey DMF. It's very dangerous to be 100% certain about things, some things moreso than others. Either they used cold-reading techniques (which do not necessarily require your talking) or they were using some sort of telepathy or other psionic ability. Occam's razor. Derren Brown has a really good episode or two where he convinces self-proclaimed skeptics of his incredible supernatural powers. :2thumbsup: (He deprogrammed them afterwards)
I Havent, But A Friend Of Mine Has, And She Was Totally Blown Away With What She Was Told.... At The End Of The Visit She Was Given An Audio Cassette To Take Home And Analize. The Spiritualist Only Came To The Western Area Of The State About Twice A Year, And Whilst I Am Very Sceptical About These Things I Decided To Make A Booking. But I Soon Learned, She Was Killed In A Car Accident On Her Way Back Home After Her Last Visit.... Surely, She Should Have Forseen This.... Cheers Glen.
