Do you find that marijuana treats the physical symptoms of opiate WD to any appreciable extent?

Agree 100% with the above! Try immodium up to 10-20mgs it won't stop you up for that long, also try poppy tea if you can/have access to seeds, tramadol would. E a good substitute if you could find some just don't exceed 300mgs. Hope this helps.

Marijuana helps greatly but not alone. I took benedryl for a while to help with the runny nose/eyes but after a while it started causing chest tightness and other bad side effects so I switched to 24 hour OTC Allegra. Immodium helps with the GI issues as others mentioned. If you can get a hold of a benzo, I suggest Klonopin it helps GREATLY! Just don't replace your addiction with it! Light exercise or even just spending sometime in the sun relaxing helps A LOT! Also vitamin C, a daily multivitamin, and keeping yourself busy. I decided I was going to clean the house top to bottom and rearrange everything. That helped curb the cravings and took my mind off how I felt plus kept me from getting bored which was my ultimate enemy.

I also took a medication called Clonidine. You can only get this from a doctor but if you were to go to one and tell them that you would rather take the Clonidine route instead of Methadone or Suboxone I am sure they would be happy to help and probably write you a benzo as well. Don't be afraid to see a doctor, you won't get into trouble or thrown into jail/rehab/ect.

Gabapentin works great,i heard about it,trying it now and it works great,i am taking anywhere from 1200 to 1500 mgs in the morning and then dosing when needed, but it is and does work.I am coming off a 100mcg fentanyl patch temporairly, have been on them for years, and withdrawals are horrible, but not right now,my patch expired three days ago.

I agree about the 'pentin. It worked well for me also.

The main thing about any addiction is self control. Do not whatsoever talk yourself into thinking you can party JUST ONE MORE TIME because more than likely that will get you right back where you started.

Also stay away from ppl that sell/keep dope/do dope im front of you!
