What BBAD said plush way brighter. The white instead of yellow adds a clarity to the light that helps too.
living in yankland, we call them flashlights here. just as silly really. as they are no more about flashing then they are about burning. the point of course, being to bring light to paces where there is considerably less of it. the myth being this somehow enables us to see better in such places. the reality is it does not. far from it, they create deep shadows that hide more then their light reveals. defeating and preventing as they do, the natural adjustment of our own optics to lowered light levels, and by which we, or at least eye, am able, unhampered by such concealing artificially created dark shadows, to observe the fullness of my surroundings, rather then being limited to their all too highly selective illumination.
when they first came out the batteries and bulbs were very low quality and the duty cycle was very low so they were actually used in bursts or flashes ...thats where we got the name of course they call them torches over seas because they are descendants of the cavemen and are very stubborn when it comes to these newfangled inventions
Very informed I am sure. Been reading some of your posts today BBAD, and have finally come to the conclusion you are a tad naughty. If I met you I think I would have to slap your legs - very hard aka caveman style. Anywaysup, talking of flashlights have you experienced the delights of the fleshlight? Oh, theres another thread cumming
My choice LED. I prefer White colour light to Orange, for my Photography. Also, I find LED will be longer!
i do like l.e.d.'s. i just don't like flashlights. or torches. 2 gold? i thought that would be 2 copper, or at most silver. in games they do work entirely differently then i the universe i live in.
Yes, they generally use one kind of coin in games. It's cool how the buying/selling systems are getting more depth though. For example it may be worth this but if there is no demand from the merchant he won't buy it for that price. It makes me forgiving, as well think that gold is merely the standard that is used to express worth (like we used gulden/guilder before euro irl)
Keep in mind it's a very generic game. They're scared of displeasing anyone so they try to make it for everyone - you can think of the coin whatever you like: gold, copper, iron, jade, chocolate.
