That's why you have reports to refer to. In case "officers" (plural) all have simultaneous lapses in memory.

How were they able to hear him on day 5 but not before that??? Did these officers (plural) all have simultaneous hearing loss miraculously restored on the 5th day?

    Such bullshit.

The DEA has no value on planet Earth. They cause more harm to humanity than they are worth. Drug wars my ass, we need an IEA Idiot Enforcement Agency to get these dumb fucks off of payrolls.

The kid ended up drinking his own urine trying to stave off dehydration. He had to be hospitalized and will be a likely candidate for PTSD. They should fire the whole office and close it down for a start.

Makes ya wonder if people have died in that holding cell in the past. How could they forget he was there? What they did is criminal.

I saw this earlier today but not the full article so I didn't post it here... This is flat out bull shyt on the part of the officers. They had to know he was there the whole time. Secondly why did they put a kid that they knew was innocent in a solitary confinement blackout cell to begin with? For kicks?

I hope they pay big time for this one...

I heard about this this morning on CNN

    http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/02/us/california-forgotten-prisoner/index.html

Sueing for $20million. nearly died, had to drink his own urine to survive. Hallucinating. Doctor says that he lost 15 pounds. In the hospital in critical condition. Tried to end it by trying to kill himself, tried to break his glasses and use it to kill himself.

The Constitution of the United States of America strictly forbids any cruel and unusual punishment. The Feds violate the Fed Law.

Everyone from that department in that city from the top down should be convicted, sentenced to death, and lined up against a wall and executed. And that is far to good for them.

Exactly. The Bill of Rights means nothing to them and it only exists because there are quite a few judges out there who actually respect the Constitution. Really the courts are the only checks that the feds have. However it takes a lot of money to bring issues to the courts.

But even then, there are complications to suing the federal government.

Many know how this will end: in a settlement. Otherwise it will require years of litigation and in the end, the DoJ will simply say: "Congress has to appropriate the funds to pay the judgement... so if they don't, tough fucking luck."

To satisfy a Judge, they may fire the lowest guy on totem poll at the DEA office to show they made preventative steps. But that will be if, and only if, people care more about human rights abuses then they care about who's dick was in who's twat. Good luck.

what pisses me off more is that probably most of us will just sit on our fat asses clicking away at our keyboards, complaining about how things are, and doing nothing else about it.

fuck. I'm stressed. let someone else do something.

what is MORE aggravating is that the large sum that he is suing for (AND SHOULD RIGHTFULLY GET!) is going to be paid by you and I, tax-paying citizens! I think this is something to get people thinking about where and how their tax money is spent more carefully.

You can conscientiously object to war and not have to serve, but you still have to set aside hundreds of dollars to taxes that fund and allocate war - so you physically object your own self from doing it, but by WORKING and making your living, you are still supporting deaths of world citizens. In the same token, we are taking this case/settlement on OUR back every time we punch in.

It's time to hold out on our taxes until we see some change. It doesn't make sense to PAY government agencies to not only lock up a VERY QUICKLY growing number of citizens, but to 'accidentally' torture us - and under NDAA, they can do it legally. It's easy to cover up these stories, but this one leaked - that was the only 'accident' here...

    ugh...where's my joint?

So, why isn't the United States Department of Justice doing a big investigation on the DEA? False imprisonment, Kidnapping, under the color of authority, punishments applied and carried out without any due process, or trial, illegal cruel and unusual punishments, which violate both the U.S. Constitution and the Geneva Convention.

How many laws does one have to break before the United States Department of Justice can look into something?

I think that I'll just join the DEA and start robbing banks for a living. LOL [Cynisism, get it?]
