It is but I will still just have my permit....had to buy the bike in AZ so didn't have one to take the test with in NJ...my permit doesn't allow me to ride on Interstates and toll roads. But I have ALWAYS avoided such death traps and the others are going to be on bicycles so this isn't an issue, We will be mostly on back roads and some bike trails....5-6 weeks!

 

The scooter is a 150cc....

 

DM, regretably Rita & I are about 100 miles out of your way up into the mountains to the north west, so this may take some figuring.

Dawn Marie, That sounds like the minimum size for interstates from what I can find on the web. Guess you're alright, there.

Brenda answered right away saying no building is happening in LV anymore, the booms been over for years except for a house being built on a private lot once in a while. Her husband had a frameing company and she worked at a home improvement place, both closed their doors several years ago. Darel probably just needs to get out of there.

Any more being a carpenter in LV is like trying to sell people fire in Hell. LOL There is no such job, there.

To bad that he is stuck there, for another month. He would like it were you guys live. I mean to summer in. Cool high country. And a trailer for 300. Can't get any lower then that.

Where's Cakes, is she alright?

My younger sister's car got totally wiped out by the Huge hail in Saint Louis, MO. Rear window gone and wide open, front windshield trashed, and a side window wrecked. Car roof, hood, and the trunk hood totally dented to shit. Like huge shotgun spread. WOW!

All count our blessings. There are worse things in life. And she almost finally have the new thing paid off. Great.

Spoke to SD/WOLVERINE He is going to email me with updated union and convention/trade show certifaction. I i can, CWP/CHAOS will request him on call sheets. BUT we need to be doing a show or booth.

Also checking with my buds in LV and will be trying to get him on show calls for at lest set up amd tear downs. The LV LAbor thing at the CC is strict and there is ONE major labor vendor who TRIES to get and place most of the laobr. But we can request the folks you want for special skills or because you have worked with them before so hopefully we can get er down!!!!!

And I’ll take my tool back pack with me, and pay a 1 month fee to his union, to work there. And Work. It’s a 55 minute flight.

I realize that he is a regular carpenter, and not a trade show and conventions installer—LIKE I AM—but there is still a ton of shit going on in Las Vegas.
Just NO Houses being built.

These are the bigger trade shows from May 1st through May 22nd. If I lived there and was a journeyman in his Carpenter’s Union Local, I’d be rich!
Look at the stuff.
San Francisco’s schedule, where I’m in the different union as and installer, doesn’t have a forth this many shows, and work going on.
I am a journeyman conventions and trade show installer for 12 years before I moved out of S.F. to N.Y.C. and then here. I still pay $150 every three months to keep my Union status alive. Haven’t worked there in 16 years. DUDE!
