I bought myself some random cocktail book. I like my spirits and fruit juice seperately, can't think why I've never whacked a load together before. Started with a simple 'Madras' 1 1/2oz of Vodka 4oz cranberry juice 1oz orange juice Lime wedge for garnishing Going down a treat it is Picked up some tequila and peach schnapps aswell as the above ingredients, should anyone know of some good combos there. But in general, what are your favourites, if any?

Jamaican Sunrise is nice: 2 oz Vodka 2 oz Peach Schnapps 4 1/2 oz Orange Juice 1 oz Cranberry Juice Bay Breeze: 3 parts vodka 1 part cranberry juice 1 part pineapple juice Strawberry Daiquiri: 1/2 oz Strawberry Schnapps 1 oz rum 1 oz Lime Juice 1 tsp powdered sugar 1 oz strawberries There's more but my brain's stopped working
Jamaican Sunset is rather marvellous too! Ta for that, didn't come across it in the book. Here's what sounds like quite the killer... Hurricane Leah 1.5oz light rum .25oz gin .25oz tequila .25oz vodka 3oz orange juice dash of cherry brandy dash of blue curacao Some things proved quite hard to turn up today, such as cherry brandy...Grenadine too which seems to be in a fair few cocktails. And what is Kaluha exactly? I spotted a bottle in the shop, but it was the same price as the tequila and vodka so I gave it a miss.
Kahlua's a type of coffee liqueur thing. It's usually mixed with Baileys or milk & chocolate or something www.kahlua.com
Oh right, so it's like, sherridans? Which side of the sherridan bottle does it fall under ...Or is it neither - The only drink I can seem to find it in are the White and Black Russians. Which doesn't help me picture it. Haha... 'Gimp' 1.5oz brandy juice of half a lemon .5tbsp grenadine

Yeah I'm definitely wanting to get my hands on some cherry brandy. Can't say I fancy coffee or chocolate with my booze. Not in the same glass anyway. I love coffee and baileys, but they didn't work together for me, something about warm alcohol maybe, as whiskey and lemonade is nice til you warm it up too I think.
I must confess I'm a little scared of whiskey these days :& The last few bottles I half remember...I think they were bad...I think they made me stop drinking for a good six months But I had a few whiskey and lemonade's t'other weekend, but I've had a bit of a cold so it's differant It's cocktail madness here, don't think I'll be having a JD&Coke for a while. But it was never my drink anyway. Tried that Hurricane Leah thing, minus the gin and blue stuff. Bloody marvellous. Got the old grenedine and cherry brandy too! Cherry Brandy is excellent
