face it: you're better off going to your local community college and learning a trade like plumbing or to be an electrician. while you're at it you can stop dwelling on impending doom and gloom. so fun using other peoples' own nihilism to deconstruct their paranoid delusions.
No, I mean you can actually purchase more materials with it. People would be looking for something to fall back on and gold/silver has been used since ancient Rome, maybe even further back
like who? i'd be willing to bet that the people without silver would be in the same boat of bartering. silver could be used as lean, but the vast majority of people will be looking at the fastest route to getting food into their mouths - so the skills and trade you are learned in is much more valuable than stockpiling silver.
I'd rather not sell myself short. I'm not gonna rush through some technical college and get a job doing something I hate at the risk of an emergency.
That's not the point. You can educate yourself to an extent. Just make sure you have a contigency plan. It takes all kinds to make the world go round. Do something you enjoy for sure!
Well I'm already into herbal medicine which I feel would be very useful in times of disaster. I could extract opium and such if there was ever martial law in this country to help those who've been injured. I also have natural remedies for cough, anxiety, sleep aid natural sedative and of course, psychedelics
Yeah, but I'm too nice for and end of the world scenerio. I'd probably be helping people in a more humanitarian effort and trying to rebuild some type of civilization in the midst of disaster.
Didn't realize Paul was 76. I don't think he is ever going to be president. I just don't see people supporting him, wrong or right, at the age of 80 for the next election cycle. There is a certain quality about Ron Paul, which the rest of Washington needs to imbibe.
I suppose I see Paul as a trailblazer. He probably won't hold the Presidency, and he may not get the credit that he deserves, at times; however, I wouldn't be surprised if many in this country unknowingly benefit from his legacy.
oh lol okay. Guess I'm good then. But yeah I think Ron Pauls candidacy has significant factors because the general public is waking up and realizing that there is a large amount of support behind these ideas, and for a good reason too. We don't need to choose the "lesser of the two evils." We can vote for liberty and the constitution. Weather you agree with Dr. Paul or not, he really crashed the Republican GOP and imbedded his message into the hearts of many people.
The legacy of which I speak is a bit different than that -- but I suppose that I like a few of the things that come of out of his son's mouth. [I do not like that his son opposes same-sex marriage, abortion (even in cases of rape), etc. In short, I like and trust his dad (a bit) more. Yes, I realize that Ron has many of the same views, but I think Rand follows them more blindly than his father.]
