A child is a born human. A fetus is a collection of cells which if allowed to develop would usually become a baby. It's not a miracle either, 3 billion other people can do it.

 

You're right, now the miracle is taking responsibility for your actions.

Aside from rape, there's really no justifiable reason for an unwanted pregnancy to occur in the first place.

I've been sexually active for most of my life - I've never conceived a child. I don't trust the pill, I always use a condom and I rarely allow myself to ejaculate inside a woman - I think that makes the odds of me impregnating anyone pretty astronomical. I've broken plenty of condoms - every time, I knew it the instant it happened and I stopped and replaced the condom before it became an issue. I don't doubt that stuff happens, but for the most part, I'm very skeptical about mutually "accidental" or "unwanted" pregnancies.

 

Agreed. I also think that when an irresponsible woman/couple concieve, it's probably in the unborn's best interests if it is aborted. If they keep it, the baby will likely grow up to be as bad as the parents, and just be a millstone around the neck of society. There's so many yob kids in this country, and the vast majority of them have yobs for parents too. There are plenty of people who shouldn't even be allowed to have kids, let alone be encouraged to do so.

And even if they give it up for adoption, it's far from guaranteed that the child will grow up in a safe and healthy envoirenment. In my opinion, making irresponsible people have a child is in itself, irresponsible.

I also find it pretty disgusting that anyone would castigate a woman for wanting an abortion for a conception that was brought on by rape.

Asscertaining somethings probability (notice the word PROBABILITY here) through logic is not the same as claiming that to be an absolute, or anything like it. Which makes your attempted comparison with being able to know winning lottery numbers frankly ridiculous.

I for one believe that abortion should only be practiced on the new moon and the spent fetus must be fed to a pack of hungry pet hamsters that have been neglected by their lazy owners.

and if there's not a trained deep sea diver, explosives expert, and administrative technician in the room, don't even attempt the procedure.

I think cannabis generates schizophrenic symptoms in more people than is led on.

The paranoia on cannabis is drug induced psychosis and can damage your brain.

It's actually a proven fact that cannabis doesn't cause any permanent damage to the human brain. But ya know whatever.

If you meant the psychosis then please explain how a mental state can cause brain damage?
Usually it's the other way around, brain damage causes altered mental states.
