Okay, so sorry if this is in the wrong place! I'm a little nooby around here but I feel i need to get this out of my system. I recently started working at a shop that i did my work experience at when i was 16. There was a guy there who was 22 and flirted with me constantly. He told me loved redheads but at the time I wasn't interested, i ignored all his texts and and calls and I stopped visiting the shop. Now, three years on, I have a placement there and he has a girlfriend. I'm not even that attracted to this man but there is something about him that turns me on so much! We got stuck in the cleaning cupboard together and I had this desire for him to pin me down and kiss my neck, telling me that no one will hear! Of course this didn't happen, but I keep replaying this in my head and at work the lust is so strong I have to calm myself down, if I think about it I go red and have to hold onto something. He still flirts with me and I catch him looking at me all the time but i need to move on from this silly fantasy as I know it will not happen! :( any advice?

Talk to him. Either tell him to stop flirting with you as its not appreciated in the situation, or to talk to him and his girlfriend about inviting you to a three-way date. Don't know what you cup-o-tea is, but you should talk to him to stop if its bothering you.

& thankyou zero, he's my supervisor now and he used to talk to me constantly before the gf, i'm not sure she'd appreciate me but i'd be totally game haha! i think i might have a little word with him, even if it kills my self esteem i think these dirty thoughts are slowly consuming me!

I worked at K-Mart years ago, there were two girls i liked. One liked me but no more than a friend but I always wanted to get a chance with her. Then came the other girl, it took a couple weeks, we got it on for about a year. She was a giver, had no problem bein my little freak.

It sounds like you are more enthralled with the notion of a forbidden workplace affair. You admit that you are not really attracted to him but the thought of him taking you is what really gets you going. Seems like this is more of a desire to be part of something taboo than with the certain person which with time will pass, as these things normally do. I am not the type of person that tells people what to do but I will advise that having a sexual relationship with co-workers normally leads to problems. One person gets feelings mixed into the relationship and refuses to accept rejection. So unless you are prepared to deal with everything involved I would just leave it at what it is, a fantasy. Would it be worth losing your job? Not saying it would happen but especially in todays workforce these problems arise everyday and termination is the most common solution.

fuck someone else over and over until the feeling goes away.

ps. seriously... if that doesn't work at least give as much thought to the potential consequences as you have being pinned down. i frequently lust after people, but most of the time it's a proximity thing. we spend so much time at work, etc.. but experience and being single for a long time has taught me a few things, and one of them is think hard about fucking coworkers and neighbors. you might ask yourself if you want to fuck him more than you want to have to look for a new job if it doesn't work out....

I'm going through a similar thing now. I understand how much the desire to indulge with this person can be overwhelming. I think its wise to stay away as much as possible and keep it a yummy fantasy. It's tough though.
