I'm just wondering if anybody has ever tried smoking weed while having a migraine to try to take some of the pain away. I've heard that its great for pain relief, but I wonder if it would work for migraine pain, or even the nausea.
Yes! I had a huge migraine that followed after eating a certain food that always triggers them. I had smoked a little before and started to feel my head throbbing a few hours later, and thinking it was because my sunglasses that were tightly wrapped around my head, I proceeded with the day. I later met up with my friend and smoked some really nice headies and felt really clear-headed. It only took until the haze wore off that I realized that weird pounding on the side of my head was actually a migraine, and that I'd eaten the trigger food at a party. Definitely relieved the pain. Considering I had an intense migraine (and I usually get aura, but surprisingly didn't), marijuana is really great for the pain relief though I could still feel the throbbing (which wasn't painful though present).
Just look at the research and testimonies! There's plenty out there online. Cannabis is the medicine to rule all medicines! Yes, it definitely can stop migraines. Also LSD and psilocybin can stop cluster headaches (the absolute worst type of headaches in existence). Maybe that food has MSG in it?
