To make a long story short, technically we arent officially dating because she is waiting for court to get finished between her and her ex for sole cusitity of her kid. And right now im going to school for the next 7 weeks. So we are hoping everything is said and done between the 2 and me and her can make it official and live our lives together. So her plan was when I got back was, he would go for supper, then hit up the pool hall for a bit and then get a hotel. Me and her been friends for 8 years and we always wanted to date each other. And now here we are. We started dating unofficially in Jan of this year. And we are somewhat living together also. We both love each other very much, and we are actually going crazy being away from each other as we are roughly 8 hours drive away. But we webcam to help us get through it. Now my question is should I get her something? I had a few people say get a neckless, my mom said get a promise/birthstone ring and others say the time alone is worth it.
Wow, really? Im come on here and ask a question and thats what you come up with? Wow, sorry but im out. Last time I come here.
The best gift a man can give a woman is his ears. Be a good listener. Jewelry has natural appeal. It is expensive, intimate, but if possible give her something made by your own hands. There's far too little of that in the world today.
As this guy surely knew... http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=322786&highlight=image+size&f=31
LOL oh god Give her a plant, and say it's your love and that even though you're away your love will always be growing :')
Just a slightly outsized image of Vincent Van Gogh, but otherwise same as the one you now see. Now will everyone please give an ear to their girlfriends? Of course this means that you should have no more girlfriends than you have ears.
So Why Did The OP Take Offence To This.... If Somebody Offered Me An Original Van Gogh, I Would Smother Them, And My Bank Manager, With Kisses.... Cheers Glen.
Let's take an educated guess... Vincent's self portrait could not cause offense, but the size of the image may have violated board policy? That's what I think, anyway. Maybe you have stumbled upon the perfect gift for a serious girlfriend... an original Van Gogh! The only way to get it back would be the day you move in together, but that's a small price to pay for getting your van Gogh back, isn't it? Even if she leaves the window open at night, hangs her stockings all over the bathroom and ruins your tube of toothpaste with the way she squeezes it?
