fell off the wagon today since last thur. n did 2 bags of dope.(not like i was clean ive been eating vics to avoid withdrawl) but on the brightside i FINALLY found a suboxone doc. 300$ the first vist with 2 weeks of meds. then 100$ a vist each month n the price of meds. they would like me to be 2 days clean when i go. what do all you think ?this is the cheapest doc ive found around here, and the other places wanted me to go 3 times a week, shit i got a fam. job, i,m trying to get time back not lose anymore. what,s your thoughts etkearne as i know you enjoy suboxone, and as i said a few months ago sorry for snappin at ya over my fentanal posts,( all you said was to be careful, you was thinking of my well being and i said something not nice, sorry again as most of the time i,m drunk while i post.) i wish i could get subutex just cause its cheaper, but i,ll be happy with what i get, if he would ask if i want pills or strips, wich is better i never had the strips. but i,m tired of running the race for the past 4 years, i spend over 700$ on herion last month the subs will cost about 280$ a month and i,ll be legal. what do ya all think??? also i drink almost everyday wonder if i should even mention it and i,m sure i have social anx. and deep depression but the oipates cover it up. after i get my meds i think i,ll mention my other problems.....what do all yall think???
Id try to cut back on the drinking if possible & I wouldnt mention it to the sub dr. Im on a script for subs & I can say that it definitely helps with depression! My dr is on the cheap side. Its $75 a visit and around $215 a month for my script because I have no insurance.
^agreed, i wouldnt mention the drinking. And IMO you should cut back on that man, especially cause your doing dope. I have known subs to REALLY change peoples lives for the better, however they ARE addictive and unless you really do want to eventually be free of the grasps of addiction, you may have a problem with subs, just replacing the dope with em you know? To be honest, i dont have a HUGE favorite between suboxone, subutex, and the suboxone film. I do like the strips, i feel i can be more specific in the doses i take. OP, do you plan to use these just as a substitute for your recreational opiate use, or are you actually trying to get clean? best of luck to you.
well it,s opening a door for me to get help for depression and social anx. i puke every moring cause i,m nerves n i had the same job for 11 years. n work with my ferinds and they all smoke bud. and ive been an pill addict fer 4 years till dec. then herion was only 10 a bag n it turned into an everyday thing, it creeped up on me. then that bust happend n it went to 20 a bag. n i,m outta homegrown to sell, n broke. but i was on subs before they change my att. for the better. i dont wanna touch methdone, and its about an hour away.
I really feel like suboxone can be a wonder drug if you want it to be. Personally, I don't buy into the the whole "trading one drug for another" thing. You may not technically be sober but you aren't engaging in destructive addict behaviors which is really what is important. Lets face it. If we could get high all the time without going broke, getting sick, and ruining relationships we would.
ahh now i have to wait til wed. to do an evolaution on the phone ( so i don,t have to miss work driving there 2 hours away) then mabye thur. fri. i,ll get to see him. till then more dope. also got offered it cheaper at the one gas staiton in this little town, we don,t even have a stoplight yet. when that guy got busted on that 3,699 packets post thats about twice as many packs as people here.
Suboxone is a great drug if used properly. If you are truly ready to use it and nothing else it will work wonders. I was going to a sub dr for about 2yrs before switching jobs and now working out of town makes it impossible to keep my appts so left resorting to other non desireable ways of getting the needed doseage. thanks twig but i run into a bunch of stamp bags today, cheap too 10 a pack, suboxne dr, was gonna call thur. for an evl. on the phone before i can go to him. but he,s only in 2 days a week so i,ll have to wait til wed. till then stamp bags of LIFE..
well finally seen the doc today 300$ for the vist 51$ for 2 weeks of suboxone film strips. got a 50$ off coupon for the strips can use it once a month for 12 months 100$ for the next vist and subs will cost 102$ since i used my coupon for the month. then with the vist to doc and meds next month should be about 250$ each month, cheaper and legal compared to the 700$ on dope last month. BUT the doc was,nt to happy with my piss there was more in there than i though, came up postive for cocaine, meth, benzos, weed, herion of course. the meth, and benzos i had no idea about goes to show ya never know what your shit is cut with. but because of my other depression and anx. problems, he wants me to go to mental health and get more meds and counsling. ahhh it took me over 100,000 and 15 years to get the way i am, it,s not going to be cheap or easy to get back to normal if i ever get there. thanks for listing to me whine take care all.
I'm kinda of sorta in the same boat as you are except my drug of choice is Roxi 30's and lots of them. I too finally bite the bullet per say and broke down and made an appointment with a Suboxen Dr. Luckily my Doc is only a 5 min drive. But the cost is high. $380 up front well $100 to get an appt date than $280 on the day of the first appt. plus money for the script... Let's hope it's worth it...like you said getting back to normal isn't gonna be easy if there ever will be a "normal me " again ... I tend to believe that we will be dependent upon something for the rest of our lives due to our early years of abuse we have put our minds and body's through !!! yeah i made 3 weeks clean from herion here, but it,s just like ya traded one drug for another. that,s what i been doing the past 15 years started with coke, then traded it for crack, then meth for about 3 years back to coke/crack then almost was clean (expect the weed and achocal i,m a drinker also bout everyday) did,nt tell the doc that. he don,t seem to care about the weed.but then slowly back into coke then cookin it back to crack, then i started liking vic,s and perc,s more then everything inbetween fentaly, roxies,dillys then to the herion, it was never around this area one guy started flooding the town with it straight from new jersey, good shit. got hooked before i knew it everyday 3-5bags for 4 months i decided it,s gotta stop and the suboxone was a great choice for me, makes me do lots of work around the house to, and that,s never in short supply. so that meth cook does good for ya huh i,m gathering the last of what i need here 2 of the main things i need yet, the lye,and murtic acid i have,nt had any of that in bout 6 years. it,s unheard of here in p.a.
still on the subs, this will be the 3rd month, never felt the need for h, things are going alot better.
Glad to read your doing better. Subs do lead you toward a better life, just remember that they dont get you there alone, Its takes equal amount of strength and desire from you as well. Stay the course, the alternative SUCKS!
Honestly subutex is way better. And it really isnt the same as doing dope, this is a popular misconception. You are not getting fucked up from subs, you dont need to do them multiple times a day like dope. You do dope one day, and your sick the next. Bupe has a long half life, and it takes a while for WDs to set in. Anyone saying its just substitution is extremely misinformed. You could say that, but it just isnt. It doesnt have the same action of addiction, 2 very different things.
still on the subs, always try to use a little less than what the doc gives me.(because he has me on 1 and 3/4 strips 14mg a day) now i have 60 of em saved up lol and it,s only half way through ma 3rd month, i,ll be on these for a long time.
Been on sub 2yrs,seems you could see doc cheaper like 300$ a month with minimal hoops,also Missouri has a program that gives you a months supply free,ill look for the link.Docters office is better than the dope hole by all means.Good luck
i pay 100$ a month to see the doc, and about 250$ for the meds. about 8$ a strip wonder how much subutex costs? i,d like to save so cash. i need to start making payments on a car. ma old one rusted so bad the shock broke up through the body laying on the back wheel. lol run em til the wheels fall off.
stoner im happy your clean, but listen to me bro, get off them asap. I went cold turkey from 300+ mg of oc, and that was a cake walk compard to hoping off 2mg subs. and I was on the oxy for 10 years. only on the subs about 30 months. they were great at first. but not at the end not trying to preach, just my 2 cents. good luck!
