What drives man to cause the destruction of mass populations for possessions? War is fought over what direct causes? Oil, Land, Freedom, "ideas" such as religion.. Following each category, the underlying factor is Power or to avoid power in freedoms case.. Perhaps these fighting desires/abilities of destruction were stowed inside of man in order to prepare for a war with its only viable reason - "survival" from an alien race

Just don't see why you think that we are hard wired to fight aliens. You seem to have the idea that there is some greater purpose to life and that we were "put" here for a reason, this is not true, we exist yes but there is no end game for organisms where one is truly superior. The need for survival is in our genetic code, all animals genetic code, except for endangered animals like pandas who have become so inbred that they've lost their drive to procreate. Do yes we are built to survive, but over all obstacles, not just aliens dude. You seem a little close-minded is all.
So research shows that there are as many as 100,000,000,000,000 planets in the Milky Way Galaxy. At at 0.0000001% chance of life, that leaves about 100 planets with life in our galaxy alone. Still think you're special? And the fact that the concept of time is infinite - Im not some dude that is obsessed with aliens and conspiracy.. Im being a realist, in that contact with a species from another planet will occur.
