    Act?

I do not act i type. You mean, i seem to talk that way when saying i dont know everything.
This is not 'acting', this is having some conviction in your ideas.

    Try it some time.

Humility? This universe alone is so titanic. It is beyond any human 'knowledge'.
But ideas encompass much.. even universes, or gods. is not GOD an idea?
i propose this 'universe' is but a small part of a reality that is not bounded by the word 'universe'.
That it 'IS' because reality is So much more than this bubble of laws and spacetime and matter. 'the universe'
As a grain of sand is on a beach.

I think big, because reality is big..
this seems logical. And what reason is FOR, Reason does not cower before the unknown.. no matter what size

I think if I could watch a video of the multiverse at a billion trillion light years across and a trillion light years a second, it would look a lot like dim static on TV. With independent universes lighting up like pixels with the expansion of energy and fading into darkness as the big crunch cycle starts all over again. Our entire solar system's life would be less than a picosecond and represent less than one sextillionth of the light of one speck.

I was not spouting. Spent 3 decades thinking on this.. it fits.
    : "no lsd involved"

Guess i'll wait for minds of same vision. Who undestand causality and how it is central to the issue

Non-existence or nothingness seems to be just as elusive as existence. The closest thing to non-existence is a vacuum. Virtual particles seem to violate notions of cause and effect.

A vacuum is just concentrated space, which is the fabric of everything.

Hi! My first time in this thread, and now I've always been here! :D For this round magnanimous intent equals levity ( to me at any rate. ) The universe was seen, sort of, a multiverse was raised, and the showdown can't go on without the infiniverse, and so it will.

    Prill:
It sounds drastic. What do you propose?

Evidence of gravity, intent, around which all the circumstances of our life aggregate or coalesce.

It is english. You may discern what it means through definition and context.

It's really not saying anything but the obvious.

I'm not all spoken up yet!

Well, there's the one that we are them.
The ideas, the stars etc. etc. And then
there's another that goes well with it, that
we have to become them, and that to do so
means having a big bang (pardon my french)

    But what do you think?

    relaxxx:
If anyone is capable of saying anything more than the obvious, then may they forever hold our peace, since the rest of us seem incapable! :)

    Deja Vu.

Well we can sit about and play pretty.

Sports and money and porn and drugs and on and on and on.. with great works thrown in and science...
but if we stay here and never leave.. are we no better than a rock?
Forget what is said. .. WHAT S DONE.. nothing.. we sit here. on earth an do nothing till one day ..pffft

I personally think reason can give us so much more than crude greed and desire..
it can make existing worth something..

You want to leave earth? Where would you like to go? We don't have to sit you know. There's walking and dancing and flying too! :-D

I don't think desire is crude. Like you, I think there is reason to find existence valuable.

Life is what it is. There's no escaping the white noise of eternity. Someday, even if it's a 100 billion years from now, there will be nothing left of this world but some space dust. Maybe half a trillion years from now some other forms of life might be wearing metal atoms from our solar system as overpriced jewellery. Life happens, the cycle of poo will continue for eternity.
