So whats the going price for the NEW Oxy 80's (op) in your area? Is there a more effective way of taking them other than just chewing them up?
I don't think there's been a price change in them. There's a microwave/freezer method that claims to make it possible to crunch them up into something close to a powder. It's available on the internet.
My dr just upped me to 90 of the 80mg per month, I just wish they were still the old ones....I also get 300 of the 15mg oxycode IR's which are very helpful!
300 IR oxycodone!? Plus a long acting OC? You are extremely lucky to have such a liberal subscriber. I can barely get 5mg oxy prescibed and he thinks two a day is enough. It's such BS! You should hold on to your relationship with your doc. with a death grip. It's superb IMO.
True...im very lucky I keep telling myself to stash some in case the day comes that he moves or decides to stop prescibing so much but it seems like the more he gives me the more I take
How is that doctor still in business Not saying that you don't need it..but talk about over prescribing..but again i don't know what pain you are in...has to be debilitating with that amount
I have heard of them for between 40-60, im sure there are lower and higher prices for em. The freezer/microwave long drawn out method does work. I have seen a friend do it. A more effective way in term of getting chem into body and highest bioavailabilty is IV.
in my experience it is common practice to prescribe a long acting med, followed by a breakthrough med, my dr now rxs 90 opana 30s and 240 roxi 15s for 28 days, and my *old* doctor prescribes 90 20mg opanas and 5 oxy 10mgs for breakthrough and that was only about a year and a half of seein each one soooo not that uncommon as far as i know
Do people actually buy the OP80's? I know that the OC80's cost anywhere from$45 all the way up to $65-$70 when they were hard to get.
The OP80's get bought up around here (North Texas) and they go anywhere from $25 to $40(!). I used to buy them exclusively but I'm trying to get away from the oxy because I have to buy at least two in order to get high. Not bragging. I wish I could get high on a quarter of an OP like I used to...
If you dun act liek a junkie, you could make biiiiiiig bucks (carefully, and never using or even carrying a cell phone while doing any bartering) with that.....
I heard around $15, but the OC's were going 25-35$ before the change higher after. Though I just chop them to about 8 pieces with hot tea and some special juice to help it down. No food, and works not as high euphoria as old OC's but when you get the right pain killing, they last long so eh it's ok. Though helped me stop smoking the OC's since their my golden apples, hidden away for me to awe at like the 'Ring' I'm a creature of the night for my OC80's
around my area 80s can go anywhere from 35-45 bucks. some people have gone as far as paying 70 for one. OP 40s go for 15-25 bucks depending if it is dry or not... But ahh gosh i hate the OPS it takes two op 80s in order for me to get a good buzz going. that is why i try to stick to the good old opanas when they are around : )
My problem is I end up taking all that is prescribed...I know that if I were to stop taking them I would/could make more money than I do working at my full time job, lots more but I cant. Even if I could cut back to half of whats prescribed get rid of the other half for probably at least 3-4k a month-
