*Edited* Korans being given away in Germany

Hi all - I'm a first-timer here....

I am hoping that there is someone from Germany here.
I want to let people know of a very deceptive thing going on in Germany at the moment. There is a group giving away 25 million Korans for free. Interesting, but there is a catch - these Korans have been **edited** to remove any references to violence against non-Muslims.

Very devious and deceptive stuff, so I am hoping that there may be someone here who can contact (say) Der Spiegel and let them know of this *fraud* that is being carried out in Germany.

Aren't they called revisionists.

We had the same thing with the Gideon bibles.

They inserted a front page disclaimer saying all characters are entirely fictitious and any resemblance to any person living or dead is strictly coincidental.

Incidentally I was rummaging around in the attic last night and I found an original copy of the Bible, which was nice.

Thing is that I was given a bible at school - everyone there (no matter of their beliefs) was given one and we were also forced to attend a Christian assembly at least once a week.

It did me no harm, I’m happy in my atheism.

There was a big to-do the other week when our province decided the Gideons didn't belong in schools anymore.

Of course, the Christian response to this was to start death threatening those who made the call.

 

This was indeed done by a certain islamic fraction and other muslims have condemned this action.

I got a free bible once at the entrance of a metal festival. These christians were there the whole time, I also got coffee from them the next morning. Much better than the so called coffee on the festival camping site
