Thats right, and damn did it feel good. Three years of paystubs now gone, no backup to prove what i did during those years, only memories. All paper work during that time is gone. ALL OF IT! Renting papers, job applications, resumes, all of it! Get the fuck outta my life! Its best that i forget that part of my life, i have moved on to better things. It was dark times, i was working at 2am, stealing beer from the store i worked at by scanning it out as distressed or damaged product, drinking 12 packs daily off the job while getting raped by the property taxes in that state. Fuck all of it! I'm not longer in that state, not a drop of alcohol has touched my lips in 14 months and i have nothing to show for that time in my life. Somethings and times are best to forget and not spoken of again....well except you suckers know...ha!
how ironic, i post and then learn that my township has issued a burning ban. it's been SNOWING here - WHAT? stepping off my soapbox now, sorry to the OP
nope, burning bans are just for outside the home, not inside the brain! burn away, sister! :2thumbsup:
Well i burned this in a indoor fireplace so it was easy. Our burning ban outside doesn't start tell late june usually right before the 4th of july. I could have thrown everything out instead of burning it...but im too paranoid that someone will find it for a reason i don't want them to. ^^
We moved a few years ago into a house heated by a woodstove. Not only do I GET to burn things, I HAVE to burn things to keep the house warm in the winter. Sometimes I'll sit there for hours watching the fire
A wood fireplace is one of the most comfurtable things in a house. In the winter its amazing how it feels....very different feeling than electric heat.
Cool. I bet it's a big relief to know hr can probably provide ya a copy of your paystubs, if need be. Ha
What I can't understand is, while drinking that much how did you have the wherewithal to save your paystubs? Mine woulda been accidentally washed, lost, trashed, you name it.
I just threw out all my back pay stubs recently. The other day, I get a notice in the mail that one of my employers was being sued, and there was a class-action settlement, based on time spent on the job. The employer is offering an amount based on erroneous records, stating that I was there several years fewer than I really was. I have no way to dispute this now, having disposed of my pay stubs.
I can't help but believe there has to be a paper trail that proves your employment that consists more than paustubs. Your tax documents, for instance.
