I'm taking a trip and would like to bring some pretty pieces back to my friends and I'm sure I can but I'm a little paranoid about bringing clean glass back home with me in my luggage even though i'm pretty sure the airline won't go through my luggage....anyone ever had any success with this? (again sorry if this is a repeat thread I did search and didn't find any) :sunny:
I presume you are talking about glass ornaments and the like. If that the case then I have brought back similar in my luggage - as long as wrapped well should be fine
When in doubt, "They're for tobacco", that phrase has supported an industry and I'm sure will work fine for you. The airline has better things to look for besides glass pipes though.
If clean means absolutely never used I think you will be fine. After all it is not illegal to posses a smoking utensil.
my friend brought an unused glass pipe from california (lax airport) which is one of the strictest back to kansas and had no problems.
I brought several pipes back from jamaica, some of them used and then cleaned very thoroughly. My brother got sniffed out by a dog in Dallas airport and we got our bags searched by customs. We almost got in trouble for a tiny piece of weed that the guy pulled out of a pack of papers with fucking tweasers. But no problem with the pipes. Unused there's nothing to worry about. Oh by the way, we got sniffed out due to a buildup of weed in a laptop keyboard
check the laws where you are going or connecting thru. Some states will consider it drug parafinalia..
