Apple BONGS? ....interesting

Ok should i waste a bud ....on trying an apple bong?....sweet tasting? anyone tried it? xxx cheers :ack2:

 

hell ya dude i love smoking out of apples. fuck the foil though, all you need is a pen or pencil then jab it all the way through the center. put the weed in the top and smoke it out the other end. youll get juices on your mouth which makes it sweet, makes the weed damper so it burns slower and burns longer pretty sweet. only use it when i dont have a bowl handy though.

Defiantly not a waste of bud, I do it all the time, I feel bad about wasting the apples though but it works perfectly, and it's fun carving out the perfect pipe

 

While I was eating an apple last week, I asked a friend if she had ever tried to use one as a bong. She did, but said it really wasn't worth it. The apple DID change the flavor a bit but she said it was messy.

Still worth trying - what's the harm?

It's possible to make a bubbler out of fruit, if you have talent.

Apple pipes work great, how is that not obvious? Legal, not sketchy to carry, disposable, cheap, not unhealthy or full of chemicals or metals, edible.....

Use a pencil or stick to jab 2 holes, one down either the top OR bottom (bottom sometimes has a nicer shape to hold bud) to make the bowl, and the other in the middle of the side to meet it for the mouthpiece. Don't leave anything in it or whatever all that should be between you and the weed is an apple.

apple bongs are sweet! Just knowing that you're smoking out of something just as organic as the product you're smoking just gives me a feeling of happiness. It's just A Win Win right there

Okay few things... One, as previously stated...no water filtration=Pipe.

So...Apple Pipe. Smoking weed out of an apple pipe is absolute shit. It stinks worse than smoking just normal bud, imo. It can fall apart and/or burn you.

Do yourself a favor. Get a Sprite bottle, a pen, some tin foil and tape; make a legit bong, decorate it with markers and call it Lemon/Lime.

But honestly it doesn't really change the flavor of the bud at all, i can barely notice a flavor change, i just enjoy it because it seems healthier.

But i hate wasting apples so i tend to use the same apple a few times before making a new one, so i keep the same apple for like 2-3 days and it gets all brown and soggy and shit, but whatever it stills works, it's pretty gross though, but i just can't bring myself to keep on wasting all those apples...

Well, we'd all like a gold and crystal bong, but if you're hollowing out a manky old McIntosh, shoving in expensive kush and trying to breath the smoke through a hole in said apple. Then I would have to call a homemade plastic bong legit, comparatively speaking.

^^no. an apple is way better than a toxic plastic bong. trust me, i did similar shit when i was like 15. but i know better now.

some plastic doesn't even need to be heated AT ALL to constantly be releasing poisonous gas (at low amounts). PVC is one example.
and even though you are not putting the flame directly to the plastic pen, or the tape, they are definitely heating up. a bic lighter is like 800 degrees or somehting insane. a vaporizer gets set to about 385 F, so that's relatively cool compared to a lighter. so you can imagine if the tinfoil boil (also controversy around smoking that) is 800 F, then the pen just below is ~ 500F...the tape is maybe 200. it's not good man.

at least try to buy a real bowlhead. u can get one for like 5 bucks or less.
and instead of using tape, use chewed gum. it'll harden perfectly. and ideally, get a glass tube for a downstem. now you are talking about a LEGIT homemade piece.

also, red "delicious" is the worst fucking apple in the world. i grew up with wild apple trees in my yard, and we pressed cider. fuckin hate red delicious. no wonder it made ur weed taste bad
