yet another tolerance question...

I'm very confused. I have an old head friend that says if you wait 24 hours, you can get off on the same amount of acid. He says within 24 hours you have to double your dose to get off.

My friends that are my age says your tolerance goes up regardless of when you take it.

So my question is, if i took one tab on monday, will i get off on friday if i only take one?

do you mean to say your old head friend says you CAN'T get off on the same amount a day later? that would be correct.

friday SHOULD be long enough for tolerance to go down (it supposedly lasts 3 days) but i think it lasts a bit longer. i would try to wait a minimum of 5 or 7 days between trips, which would put you at dosing on saturday, instead of friday. even that is way too often for prolonged amounts of time though

 

a 24 hour break would still give you effects but reduced effects. But the longer you kept up that pattern, the more the effects would decrease. Several days are needed for full effects to come back.

 

Your friends that say "tolerance goes up no matter when you take it" are not correct: you cannot develop a permanent tolerance to LSD.

I believe that, with normal use, even into the tens-of-hits range. Maybe even hundreds.

But not for super-mega-doses, like thumbprints.

The only first hand account I can recall reading of thumbprinting is by chinacat on shroomery. Look it up if you want an interesting story.

But you never come down. He said he could eat crystal at shows after that..... Which would have you or I immobile on the ground. He said he's still "high", but didn't say what he meant, I don't think he meant hppd, though I'm sure that is probably a part of it.....

OP, in a week, tolerence is back down. Less than that, waste of cid. Beyond a week, there may be a reverse tolerance effect, linked to the number of times you've dosed.

 

yea your tolerence will be down after a few days, and if you double your dose the next day you will still have a nice trip. but unless you are wanting to spend multiple days tripping, then i would suggest waiting for atleast a month between your lsd trips. this will give you alot more time to integrate your experiences, and will allow you to fully redevelop your unhindered tolerence to lsd.

lsd isn't much like other drugs in that it isn't so black and white as if you take it so many times your tolerence will go up for a certain period of time. while this is sort of true, the quality of experience could go down drastically if you are dosing up once every week -- even though your tolerence may have gone back down. you will have fuller experiences the longer you wait between them.
