    2012 Mid-West Rainbow Gathering of the Tribes...in the Boundary Waters
    MAY 18th - 28st . . . Superior National Forest...MINNESOTA

    HOLDING CAMP HAS BEGUN!

    Seed Camp MAY 1stish "access from both us and canada"

    Mid-West Silent Circle for World Peace MAY 28th . .

    Vision Council May 29th... Join us and help pick next years
    site!.... Perhaps it will be in your state!

    Directions.....
    I-35 to Moose lake Mn. west on 73 : 5 miles to Hyw 27 west approx; 10
    miles to Hwy marker 130 ... I am a 1/4 mile east of mile marker 129
    ... 120th place is to the south dead end last drive way eapst 500 ft .
    set back ; east off township road ... (Saari Rd . twp 192) on Google

    White Mountain Bear has opened up this farm to us. My brother Ant was
    up there a couple weeks ago, Said Mountain Bear is great family.
    Please respect his property before moving north to Seep
    Camp...Shooting for May 1st.

    Bear Said:
    There is Wi/Fi wireless ... I have 50 feet of ether net cable for a
    direct connection from my modem , I can park two or more buses next to
    my house ... I have camping spaces for tents if needed , I am totally
    off the grid ; Solar power ... I have generator back up @ 1,000 watts
    ; there is a 3,500 watt & a 5,000 watt ... my carbon foot print is
    less than 50 gallons of gasoline per-month ; & have reduced my
    gasoline needs to less than half of that amount each month ... This
    includes my pick up ; my work , chain saws , lawn mowers (ect.) In my
    world I take it one thing at a time ... What ever I can do to help
    from here ; I may not be able to get to the actual gathering it's self

    Wow so close to me, I really want to go! Can someone explain to this noob what "holding camp" and "seed camp" mean?

    hi al . if you leave now you would go the Bear's place and could
    help with scouting the forest for the gathering site . scouts will come and go from there until a choice is made . then altogether the people of
    holding camp go to the woods . there can be some water lines to set
    in from a springhead to the main camp . the seed camp attends to such things .

    Seen Camp gathering begins may 1st...
    Silent Circle May 28th....
    During this hour all who participate will silently think, pray, meditate and feel in their beings the complete desire to know and be part of the change which must take place. Dedicating themselves to carrying this with them the full intent of being living examples of our deepest dreams and visions....


    Some folks are gathering in Chippewa National Forest...
    Directions:
    Starting in Grand Rapids Minnesota, go north on State Hwy 38 for about 17 miles. Take a left on Orange Lake Rd, drive 2.5 miles and park near Forest Rd 2153J. If you get to co rd 48, you've gone 3 miles too far.

    Other folks are Gathering in Superior National Forest near Boundary Waters.
    Directions:
    From Duluth Minnesota travel west on MN-61/LondonRd (Signs for North Shore) to Grand Marais. Take Co Rd 12/Gunflint Trail north for 52 miles. Takes a let on Seagull Lake Acc Rd. Welcome Home

    Anyone festival hopping or just traveling around from the mid west gathering. I plan on attending but dont really have a place to go afterwards...

    The Chippewa Forest site , north out of Grand Rapids . This
    is the site chosen by council and has been more specifically announced
    on the rainbowgatherings.org messageboard .

    been out of the loop so too long and i am missing the boundry water camp man i feel so lame we are still here and will be for a good while if your near exit 110 I90 western dakota you are welcome here td
