Does anyone know a knot to join the ends of a piece of macrame jewelery to make a continuous loop? A finger ring for example.

    Thanks a lot,

A long time ago when I was taught to macrame, we used the heat of a soldering iron to melt and fuse cord. I guess it would depend on the cord material.

I'm not quite picturing what you're talking about.
Are you looking for a simple chain loop or ring hitching(an actual ring inside the knots involve)

I don't do macrame but I knows a thing or two about knots. :hide:

Hey sorry I haven't checked this for a while.

I mean I want to continue the macrame pattern all the way round a ring in a loops, so that the end becomes the begginning. I have found a way to do it for now. It's not perfect but it'll do.

Thanks for the help anyway. :)
