you really cant punch something out by accident. You either know what you are doing or you dont. I suggest you find your mom some psychiatric service. If and when she acts out, tape that shit with one those fancy cameras they make today. Then you have proof. Unless you have a 2nd witness to her behavior, very little the police can do for you.
