Hey! You go to Oswego? My friend went there... I know about alot of herbal medicines, however, I don't live in a communal setting. But I can provide you with other sorts of information, extraction methods and, what-have-you. Possibly even some herbs.

North Central Arkansas, 12 miles North of Yellville, mountain top oak forest, sanctuary preserve.
Dr Karl Buchanan, Sr. Health Officer, Sons of Mercy
arch-over authority in this region in biological medicine and emerging infectious diseases. Author of "Tassili Doctor" psilocybe medical articles for TEO.
On site Apothecary production, wellness ministry, animal care and kung fu temple.
Conditions feral, water and electric present, telephone available - must build own dwelling. Large camping area near power and water.
You drop it all and become 24/7/365 mystical type healer and good spirit caring for the forest and how much of what enters your sphere you think you can handle. Feasts here and there. When we are normal again, we munch giggle box fungi once a month out of the dispensary. WAIT! NO WE DON'T! That was just a joke haha -
Logistics: Money is little and inconstant, food stamps still obtainable, pretty easy to be poor. Large county, largley forest about an hour from branson, two hours from Eureka Springs, just off bull shoals lake near buffalo and white rivers. 9 miles down mountain to nearest store. Bear, lions, deer, coons, possums, turkeys, ground hogs, quail, bats a reality present. Bear cool.
When we can afford 'em: 1-870-656-6114 or 816-808-1787

Shaman sure. Can also deliver, suture, run a code and do a field amputation that isn't a nightmare like tv. heh. "Word" I have a pro bona, (almost entirely) knife and needle free practice, from seed to bedside.
This is my thirty first year in the knowledge of blood and dust (medicine) and the care of souls. Thirty sixth year since initiated to kung fu. I just like roaming around enjoying things and avoiding sobriety. The rest comes automatic ~

Invigorating, demanding here and there, frightening at times and may involve dragging around on mushroom tours or other events. May also involve rarely leaving the woods if one prefers and has basic means. It is a living and continuous way of re-naturalizing one's self and rolling with the signs and times so to speak. The philosophy is that one only has so many resources which get largely drained away. If redirected they become the extra edge and vitality required.

UPDATE: Wow! My HOME is closed! and 3 of us and animals temporarily in limbo while the Church tries to re-settle us. It's gotten a bit violent and it appears that the Klan and such like are already going cannibal on each other down there.
I will def offer a live training opp again as soon as I get re-settled and my part of the tribe going back to speed. Cheers!

    ------------------------------------------------------
The Church has closed the preserve in North Arkansas and removed all people and animals from the area.
Numerous conditions make North Arkansas unsafe for habitation and we do not recommend people go there. Travelers should avoid the area if possible.
Resources in the area continue to decline and all levels of society appear to be affected to the extent that a form of "quiet anarchy" has already begun to rise without check or the reasonable speculation that remedies will be available for some time.
The Church is currently re-settling the animals and their volunteers to an area which should remain more stable and which has less environmental hazards.
When re-settlement has been accomplished, members wishing to visit or needing sanctuary will be informed of the new location.
May G-d be with you all and aid you in the days to come.
