I am a new Author, my book is coming out in July... I write books on what I dream, and when I have trouble I focus on that dream to help me figure out what to do next. I want to know what inspires you guys to write? -Author Selena L. C. Kramer
That's really rad that you write books based on dreams! Most of the time I can't even remember mine. x) What inspires me to write is definitly music, emotions. I honestly just write stuff in 5-15 minutes because I have it thought out in my head for the most part. Shutting myself off from the real world really helps, because my mind just becomes a blank slate that needs to be filled. And it makes my thoughts less rehearsed and more unpredictable. But I write poetry, not books.
I write poetry because, well...I love to hear myself talk, so of course I love to read my own writing! ...So of course reading my own poetry aloud is the ultimate treat
so write tons of poetry and seperate them into sections and make it a book of poetry! -Author Selena L. C. Kramer
If your under 18 don't worry about getting published there's always away. I mean I'm 16 and my books getting published. -Author Selena L. C. Kramer
I write because I like it. I write music, poems, quotes, books(or attempting too) And mini comics... I write based off emotion. I will also sometimes look at a person, and make a story on how they feel and how their life is. Just based off one look it feels like I can see right through them. Everything... Their past, their achievements, their pain... I feel it. And I write it. Or I pick a topic say.. Being raped... And then I take myself out of everything and go into my little zone, and feel as if I was the person being raped and I write the emotion based off of how I feel, or think it would feel.
Thats how i feel... just i actually finally finished a book lol...i write all kinds of things as well
I write when I want to feel closer to God. After all, it is a Creative act. Ram Dass, when asked to describe The One, said "It's creative. Look around. It's creative. Look at my body, It's creative!" I had an Arts Teacher who said, "Only three things create: God, Mothers, and Artists." Likewise, Sondheim in 'Sunday in the Park with George,' says there are two worthwhile things to leave behind in this world when you die: "Children and art." Although I'm not claiming my poetry is Art...
I think that if you are sincere in your poetry, then it is art. A lot people these days make poetry to... Well be a tool. OR fake. But you know how some girls are... Fall for them tool belts. And it is sickening.
i always wanted to write on ''WTF we do '' . why why why . why are here , why that why this . etc . but when there are two truth in life . birth and death . all that life is for the middle between birth and life !
