Has anybody else ever wondered why talk show hosts move their arms around insanely when they start talking to the guest next to them once they cut for commercial break? Every time they go for commercial breaks, the host and guest both always lean in and laugh hysterically as if somebody just said something hilarious, and they fling their arms everywhere as if it's the most amazing exciting conversation ever, it's annoying as hell... I wonder what they talk about? I wonder if before they go on the show, some director is telling them to start up a conversation soon as they go for break, do they just sit their the entire time infront of the audience pretending to talk while we at home watch commercials? Sorry, but i was watching the conan o'brien show last night while super baked and noticed it...
I often wonder that too...or if talk show hosts become wicked big dicks to guests after the commercial break ends.
I defiantly think some turn into massive dicks once they go off air I wonder what they say, all the conversations look so phony and forced...
no i meant for learning to control to articulate better, since 90% of what we communicate is through gestures.. oh , or for giving suggestions?
Haha i'm about to be watching one too in about an hour, conan o'brien show, watch it every night at 12 just because it's on
