I have to agree with you! It's not like were on a grammar forum. I think you spell just fine. Besides who the heck worries about spelling. I wouldn't want you to spell any other way. Just flow with it.

I thought that movie was completely overkill. I couldn't believe how violent it was, I wasn't even able to watch the entire flick because I had to leave the room. I would never, ever watch such a bloody film again. *shudders*

How any Christian could actually make it through the entire movie is beyond me. I'm far from being a church-going person, as I do not believe in organized religion, but that movie really bothered me. Depressing, gory, and over-done. I think Mel took things too far.

    Peace...

i thought it was great, but i cried like a baby through most of it. it was really gorey, but i think that just made it more realistic.

To everyone who says it was to bloody, do you not think a crucifixion would not be bloody, especially the way it is in the bible. And the bible itself is an incredibly bloody book.

Actually I don't think the movie did any justice at all to Jesus's crucifixion. Jesus suffered even more than that. People didn't even know who He was. So they should have made it even more violent.

yet if another movie was that violent (again, havent seen it but going off what everyones saying) about something other than jesus (fictional or real), there would be an uproar against it due to its violence. churches have had protests against movies and tv shows, and other groups other than religious ones. just because its jesus, shouldnt allow these people to be complete hippocrites.

the only reason id ever consider watching this movie, is to see if it could actually gross me out..

note.. anyone see braveheart? i wonder if mel felt like jesus at the end..

Religion is the biggest downfall of human society! Just think of how many people have been killed, maimed, tortured, sacrificed, etc. all over some fairy tale! This movie is something I would only watch for the entertainment value, as with any movie, and I doubt it is entertaining.

It wasnt to bad. A little drawn out at points. I thought that Satan was pretty cool though. I liked the snake that came out of his nose.

I thought this film was stunning... and no, I'm not a christian. I don't think you have to be a christian to see the beauty in it. Even if you don't believe in the whole god-part, you can still view it as a story of human suffering, and someone willing to die for something they believe in... I thought it was very powerful. As for the violence.. yeah it was there, and you know what? It was necessary. It was necessary to the plot.

By the way, The Passion wasn't anti-semetic, although that's the first argument that's always made in a case like this. Actually if you watch the film, the Romans come off far worse than the Jews.. or at least that was my opinion.

Braveheart's violence was necessary too, I thought. Yah it was gross sometimes, but it needed to be. I think Mel makes awesome movies. :)

whether the movie was anti-semetic or not (havent seen so i cant comment), it still created a LARGE anti jewish feeling. my girlfriend was abused constantly over the net for weeks after its release because she "killed jesus". and after reading a few news reports over the net it was a lot worse than that actually in america.
