So my little sister likes the whole goth punk rocker scene I'm not into that but i dont care as long as she is happy... Now the problem is I've heard people talk shit about her behind her back because she buys her gothy punk rocky black clothes, chains and boots at thrift stores and army surplus stores... What can I say to these people i want to stand up for my sis I want to be there for her but I'm not very good with words and I don't want to sound stupid...
people have always talked about other people behind their backs, but it seems that these days it's a lot more common. It's as if people are desperate to find some shit to talk about other people, because there is nothing to unite them. Their social groups would collapse if there wasn't some shit to talk. Having people talk shit about her may make it harder for her to connect with some people (those who are afraid that if they associate with her, that shit will also be talked about them), but if she's goth/punk already, she probably doesn't give a fuck what they think. I guess that I don't have any advice, but fuck those assholes.

Hey! Hot topic had some cool Grateful dead shirts too. I always felt like a doofus when I would walk into a hot topic and look at band shirts though. It was just easier. Finding random band shirt stores in a city usually meant finding yourself driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Fuck all the haters Hot topic rocks.
