    Hi

I am quite embarrassed about this problem so thought it would be best to ask advice from people who will never know me etc.

Anyways, over the past 4 or so days I seem to have got some red spots down below, there are about 3 on each side of my vagina (literally just to the sides of the main flappy parts if you like..) best way I can describe it. Sorry. [IMG]

Anyway, thought I may have contracted something (I haven't had sex in a year and a half) however, have had oral sex just a week and a half ago. I was worried this may be sexually transmitted but it doesn't seem to match up to anything. They aren't sore and they don't itch, smell or burn, they are literally just several spots, a bit red but nothing drastic. I did shave last week as well but have never had spots there before so didn't know whether to connect this up or not... Anyway, just today I realise I am also quite tender around my groin (by this I mean literally just above my vagina where my leg connects to my torso).

I don't really know what to do, I won't get a doctors appointment for at least a week (however will look at booking one), but I don't really know what it is and was wandering if anyone has any idea. I am quite worried even though they don't cause me any pain or anything.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks.

How big are the spots exactly and does anything come out of them when you squeeze?

And what do you mean by oral sex, did you receive oral from someone or give it?

Just go to your local sexual health clinic, it's walk-in most of the time and they will be able to tell you exactly what it is, even if it's medical and not sexually transmitted.

I get some red spots from shaving all over some weeks when I do it, but I don't know how yours look so no idea if it's the same.

    Hi,
The spots can be folliculitis from using a cheap razor without an antibacterial cream. That would be the most likely cause here.
The pain in the groin doesn't really fit in with the spots. The only link I can make between the two is a local infection from a bite or scratch or something that has caused lymph node swelling. This would present with a small lump on the bikini line.
If you did not use a cheap razor without cream. Have no scratches or bites, if the oral did not include the guy having a cold sore...then you best go to the clinic.
    Good luck.
