a friend dropped off his entire library of psychedelic writings (My Problem Child, 1971 Psychedelic Review, and E is for Ecstasy among them.) only four duplicates to our library. oh joy , oh reading. what a kind brother! He said he was no longer exploring or teaching and these books needed a new home. Some titles:The book of the Mother "a Shivalila production", Trialogues at the edge of the west, The Healing Journey by Naranjo, Gateway to Inner Space, and Psychedelics, A collection of the most Exciting new material on Psychedelic drugs (1994, so a little dated) lots of textbooks on the chemistry and experiences, including the college text version of Leary's Politics of Ecstasy.
anyone know the name and/or location that I could find some of Timothy Leary's work on 'Reimprinting' and reality creation... I really want to look more into all this.. I know theres a guy that has a huge collection of psycho-active work and leary's filing cabinets (well maybe not anymore) so I know that stuff has to be out there somewhere... i gotta finish up flashbacks, then I got design for dying, and be here now... after that I want to read high priest.. and I want to find leary's book on creating your own religion (what was used by the brotherhood of eternal love)
looking to buy? try www.powells.com also used bookstores in "straighter" areas...they won't necessarily know what they have.
drumminmama--- i experience jealousy pangs... do i sin by coveting your personal library? best wishes for a fun (re-)read or three...
lostchord, I would get leary's book exo psychology. It is THE manual for reimprinting... in fact it says on the cover "Instructions for the use of the Human nervous system according to the instructions of the manufacturer." I have a copy at home, and i can look for a copy online.
not at all. Knowledge is to be SPREAD. they can't take it away if its in your head... just to bait you, we got our copy of TIHKAL autographed by both Shulgins at Mind States. Great folks.
thankyou very much.. i just finished 'flashbacks' the other night for my 2nd time through.. and I was thinking of something else before i read 'design for dying'
