Contact highs?

Does anyone know anything about contact highs? Are they possible to get if people you are with are on LSD or shrooms or even smoking pot? I think when you are on them alone and around people it may seem like everyone else is vibing off your high, but I doubt that is true. Or is it?

 

I totally believe it is true when Im around people tripping when I am not I can still feel their energy, Ill have flashbacks and things will wiggle, but still kind of left out.

 

in pikhal, under the entry for 2ci I believe, Alexander Shulgin mentions something about a contact high when being surrounded by several individuals trippiing on the drug. With pot I thought the idea of contact high was more an individual accidentally inhaled someone else's smoke and gets high that way.


I know when I have taken perhaps a low dose of a drug and someone else feels it more than I, I can sort of feed off their energy, so the idea of contact high seems plausible to me. But often when I'm sober watching someone trip, I tend to just wish I was tripping.

 

I think its quite possible, in the same way a placebo can cause changes in an individual's organism.

 

A few days ago I was getting high at a buddies and my friend brought a girl there who doesn't usually smoke weed. She got pretty giggly and then admitted to getting a contact high. I honestly think it was because the room was so hotboxed, but who knows....

personally, I think contact highs are real. Any experienced tripper can just 'tell' when someone else is tripping. There are things you can just feel when people are groovin'!

I absolutely believe in contact highs as I've gotten them on several occasions. One time I was sober driving a group of my friends who were rolling around on a cruise and when we got out my buddy pulled out this LED sword and started waving it around. I saw insane LSDesque tracers for like 20 mins until they disappeared. It was unexpectedly awesome.

Another time I was sober, walked into my house where my bro and his friends were chillin and immediately got this intense energy vibe. Absolutely noticeable from outside. I asked right away "so who's tripping or rolling because I can feel it." Two of them raised there hands.

Weird stuff but it just adds to the incredible nature of these substances.
