Hey, I'm building my house from materials sourced here on our land. My buddies are going straight cob, but I've stockpiles literally tons of rock and want to utilize it. Our soil is great for cob, so I was thinking of using cob for mortar, but there isn't much information available on the oldschool way of building stone houses. It seems like that's what people did, but I have concerns about shrinkage and cracking. Does anybody know anything about this?
