Tribal Law (WA State)

    Does anyone out there know whether non-Native Americans are subject to local, state, and federal laws if they happen to reside on tribal land, or whether they are subject only to tribal law? Or does tribal law apply only to Native Americans? Just curious :)

    Not positive of this but I believe tribal law only applies to Native Americans.

    I think you're probably right. Now if I could only prove my Cherokee ancestry (or my hubby's) that might help! :)

    what are you trying to do? I can't imagine being a Cherokee in Washington is going to get you much.

    Just wondering if living on tribal land would make you immune to all but tribal laws :) I've had it with the f*cking US gov :beatdeadhorse5:
