Ok people.... i was talkign to a firend and he said fesh mushrooms have more kick to them.. is that true? if so y is it only illegal to have dried mushrooms? do u need more fresh ones then dried? i just think its werid. i have never heard of anyone over here selling fresh ones

Depending upon the drying process and storage conditions there will be some change in the ammounts of psilocybin / psilocin / baeocystin etc due to oxidation and enzymatic processes. The degradation can be minimised by avoiding excessive heaiting of the shrooms while drying, and keeping them in an airtight container in a cool place when fully dry. Also the dried shrooms are easier to munch or grind into a powder, so the active chemicals may be able get into your system faster, giving you a steeper "come-up" if so is it only illegal to have dried mushrooms? In the states, canada and many other places they are illegal dry or fresh (as far as I know). In the UK, Holland and some other free-thinking countries, fresh shrooms are legal unless they have been "prepared" (e.g. made into tea, dried, extracted, etc..). In the UK there has recently been a case brought against a retailer where the prosecution was alleging that packaging, weighing and refrigerating the shrooms constituted an act of "preparation". As it is, the case sort of got thrown out of court, as the representative of the judiciary thought that the police prosecutors were trying to make the courts decide on the interpretation of a piece of legislation, rather than the government going through the process of clarifying the law itself. do u need more fresh ones then dried? Roughly speaking, shrooms are about 90% water when fresh, so when you dry 30g of fresh you end up with 3g of dry. They would both give you simmilar trips if drying and storage were done carefully. i just think its werid. (Magic mushrooms are wierd, but not as wierd as the laws about them) i have never heard of anyone over here selling fresh ones Thats because they are ilegal where you are , but also it is much harder to organise selling fresh shrooms, they only keep for a couple of weeks in a refigerator at the most. You can't just keep them hidden under your floorboards or they will go bad. Dry shrooms take up much less space and keep for much longer. One of the problems with dry shrooms is that it is much harder to positively identify what you have bought, whereas if you get fresh you can tell what type they are with a bit of practice. It's a real shame that it's ilegal for you to grow them, there is nothing nicer than tripping of freshly picked shrooms that you have grown yourself. (the taste is still a bit of a problem though)
i think there not illegal fresh in the uk here cause it would be stupid as in many places they grow free in the wild, an u cant exactly arrest mother nature for growin them lol

fresh mushies are much more potent than dries ones. atleast thats wat my experience with the mushroom tells me. some mushrooms are potent because they contain more psilocybin, that is the chemical which is responsible for the magic in mushrooms. so generally fresh mushrooms have more of that chemical.
but not in the psilocybin per gram dealy... 40 grams of dried will incapacitate you unless you're uber hard core..
