I've always read it helps a lot with fuzz, which is something I have a lot of on the top of my head. Does it make your dreads sticky, shiny, or greasy? How does it look/feel after being applied? Just asking before I go out and buy some..

Aloe vera gel is great for dry scalp and frizzy hair/dreads. I never found it to get sticky or greasy. The only drawback is it sometimes gets a bit flaky, so use in moderation. Make sure it's pure aloe vera gel, not the florescent green stuff at the local pharmacy.

Its easy to grow your own. They grow like weeds and they spread out so you can separate them, and after a year you have 10.
