I drive fine stoned, no problem at all. If I'm way too stoned to drive I just wait a half hour to an hour, and then I'm fine. Driving blazed versus drunk is completely different

    Just to be a dick.

If you were going the speed limit, you would have been past the dog before it darted out. You would have been further along the road before the dog made it there.

But I do know what point you were making, and it is a worthwhile one to pay attention to.

If yoiu have a chance -- I suggest driving around the Boston logan airport - I goes around & around in this circle, & thru these tunnells ... & what makes it really good is if you can get your hand on the original russian 'Solaris' movie, just to watch the driving scene

^ uhg metalideth...your the same idiot who goes to a Casino, sits at a slot machine for 2 hours, then when an old lady comes and sits at the machine you were just at and hits the jackpot with the next pull you say

"oh, if i had only stayed for 1 more pull i would have won"

    NO YOU WOULDNT HAVE

the world was conspiring for that event to happen, and it's spot occured then, just because i was 2 seconds behind, or 10 seconds ahead, who's to say the man who lived in the house wouldnt have got up from the TV those extra 2 seconds ahead and the dogs would be dead???

I can't drive stoned. The stop signs and stop lights all seem to disappear. As do the white and yellow lines.

lol dj, I don't know your feelings on this but you are supposed to hit the animal and not swerve. Most people swerve anyway out of reflex. I don't.

so in an empty street, with no cars on it, at 1.30 in the morning, when a big german shepherd runs into the street

i'm not suppose to swerve because thats what your driving instructor told you?

a good driver is aware of the surroundings and acts appropriately to events posed to that driver, i guess we just arent on the same level.

    DEAD THREAD REVIVAL!

There is a big difference between VLT's and stray dogs, but that's beside the point. Bottom line is, going slower, or faster, accidents happen. .. I simply suggest that a change in one link in the chain of reaction; faster instead of slower, will change the upcoming chain of events, whatever they may be, not accounting for the 10 billion other unknowns in the factors that lead up to the event. Also, yes, if you swerve that dog and wreck your ride, your insurance will not cover the damages. kill'em.
