addiction to opiates

how do you know when you are starting down the road of addiction? i know it sounds like a stupid question.

but today i noticed a change in my thinking about using opiates. it was like i didn't care if my parents would find out i was taking some of their pills and also i was planning on just taking the whole bottle of dilaudid. only 4 pills left so no sense in just leaving it there cause she'd know that I've been taking them. I'm hoping she won't even notice its gone.

but anyways its like i don't give a fuck if i keep down this road. i don't plan to get addicted. lol but who does.

 

The type of drug, route of administration, dosage used, frequency of use, and how long you've been using all figure into it. Your tolerance will steadily increase in any case. When you suddenly stop taking them for some reason you'll know whether or not you've developed an addiction within 24 hrs.

Dude stop while your ahead. If your really think you want to start down this road go look at the how did you get started on opiates thread and read my response there. It isn't something you just see coming all the way until it hits. You use for a while and then one day when you wake up your sick as shit and then your in hell. You should stop while your ahead if you don't have a problem now then you may as well just stead clear of this road all together. Trust me save yourself the living walking 24/7/365 tourtue and hell that is opiate addiction. You don't "know" your heading towards addiction you just end up there but a good idea is if your using opiates nearly everyday or everyday and you crave them all the time and when you stop taking them you get sick. Kind of a dumb question.
